Street Lane Primary School will only authorise term time holidays in exceptional circumstances. These requests should be submitted to the Head teacher at least 2 weeks before the planned holiday.
The headteacher and the governors will consider your request.
Any unauthorised absence due to holidays will be issued a penalty notice.
This has been agreed by the governing body of Street Lane Primary School.
Our SEND Policy
Our SEND Policy is currently due for review. As a Trust, we are awaiting the finalisation of the Government White Paper and associated statutory guidance relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
In order to ensure that our policy fully reflects the most up‑to‑date national expectations, legislation and best practice, we have taken the decision to pause our formal review until this guidance is finalised.
In the meantime:
The school continues to meet all current statutory duties under the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice (2015). Provision for pupils with SEND remains fully in place and under regular review. Pupils with SEND will continue to be supported according to their individual needs through high‑quality, inclusive teaching and appropriate interventions. The existing SEND Policy remains in force until a revised policy is formally approved and published.
Once the national guidance is released, the Trust will review and update the SEND Policy accordingly and make it available on this website.
